I just saw that highlight of the red card.. unbelieveable! How the fvck does a player get a red card for that? If anything Conmebol should red card that ref for being clumsy.

golazo de ricardinho, pero carlitos no aparecio en todo el partido.

corintiano, can you post the main eleven players that traveled vs pumas and the 11 from yesterday? I wanted to see how many real starters lose to pumas last year.

    Corinthians team vs Pumas:
Fabio Costa; Coelho, Betão, Wescley, Ronny; Bruno Octavio, Wendel, Fabricio and Carlos Alberto; Jô and Bobô.

    Corinthians team yesterday:
Marcelo; Coelho, Betão, Wescley, Gustavo Nery; Bruno Octavio, Marcelo Mattos, Ricardinho and Carlos Alberto; Carlitos Tevez and Nilmar.

Corinthians probable perfect eleven with all players fit:
Marcelo; Coelho, Betão, Sebastian Dominguez, Gustavo Nery; Mascherano, Marcelo Mattos, Ricardinho and Roger; Carlitos Tevez and Nilmar.

From the team vs Pumas the only starter better than the 2006 one is Fabio Costa, which left to Santos. Ronny and Fabricio didn´t have the contract renewed, Wendel was left out of bench yesterday and Jô and Bobô left to Europe (CSKA and Besiktas).

"Nilmar’s contract with Corinthians lasts until mid-2006 – the fruit of a loan agreement Kia Joorabchian reached with Lyon, who have the player under full contract until 2009. If The Parque São Jorge team wants to keep the player for longer in an Alvinegro shirt, then MSI will have to fork out 10 million Euros to the French league leaders."

Oh ok thats what I thought. I don't thinkg Lyon would let a player like Nilmar go that easy. He's a young player that's bound for greatness. Even if Timao came up with those 10 million euros, still Lyon wouldnt let him go. He's worth a lot more than that.

This score was unexpected. I'm sure if that player hadn't been red carded, the history of the game would've been different.

The future of this group now isn't so clear.

    strange game!

when you can tell that the only talented team is corinthians and a freaky goal goes in? Tigres bad play from the first half was so bad, it became the norm for 22 players....

did you notice that tigres had 2 conmebol defenders (from paraguay and brazil)
in midfield they had 3 conmebol players (veiga-brazil, gaitan-argentina, y el Mumo de comodoro rivadavia)
un delantero chileno? so they played vs some talented players that could not find any good plays, under a brazilean coach (tuca Ferreti)

    weird game....crazy result

6 foreigners? is that allowed in Libertadores? if so what's the limit of foreigners(if any)?

and about the game, if i was a Tigres fan i wouldn't be too happy outside of getting the result....the team it's crap in the Apertura and in the libertadores they have been far from a good team, winning 2 home games yes but in one they got scored on 4 times and on this one without the red card i'm pretty sure it would've ended 0-0 but then again the first goal wasn't a result of Corinthians having 10 men in the field, it was just a lucky shot...
