This is the Selection thread for the All-Time European Draft. Here is a reminder of the rules:

Build a team of 11 players.

You must pick your players from the following pools:

Pool A (draft 3 players from Pool A, maximum 2 per country):
    France
    Germany
    Italy

Pool B (draft 3 players from Pool B, maximum 2 per country):
    England
    Netherlands
    Portugal
    Spain

Pool C (draft 4 players from Pool C, maximum 1 per country):
    Austria
    Belgium
    Czech Republic (Slovakia, Czechoslovakia)
    Denmark
    Hungary
    Poland
    Russia (Soviet Union)
    Sweden
    Yugoslavia

Pool D (draft 1 player from Pool D):
    All other UEFA European countries

If a player played for both a European country and a non-European country he will be an eligible pick if he won more caps for the European country.

    Player Evaluation
    Full club and international career.

    Draft Rules
    Snake draft format.
6 hour pick deadline within your timezone (9am - 11pm).

When making your selections, it's not necessary to post long essays about your players but you are welcome to describe them and add YouTube videos plus a Wikipedia link and and/or other appropriate links.

Enjoy the draft which is now open :)

    Ferenc Puskás
    Hungary
    Pool C

Europe's greatest goalscoring inside forward of all time. The complete forward: Puskás' technique, ball control and playmaking surpassed his peers and we are still in awe of his goals.

Equally adept in attacking and defensive midfield areas, and his combination of energy, resilience, teamwork and skill should fit great in my midfield. Can be a true box to box player, or can sit deeper and protect and prompt.

With the silky touch and creative mind, he'll be tasked with making things happen and helping the flow of the attacking play from midfield.
