I'd love if Vinicius becomes a starter under Zidane, but I don't really see how that's gonna happen. Many things can be said about Solari, but he wasn't afraid to give young players chances in important games. Zidane didn't even gave much playing time for likes of Kova, Llorente, Ceballos etc.

This summer, Real Madrid are gonna do everything to bring in Hazard (who's also a left forward like VInicius) and there hasn't been a secret on how much they admire eachother.

I really don't see on how Vinicius will make into the XI even when Hazard arrives in summer.

Even if Hazard comes, VJR will get more than enough minutes to develop himself. In 3 years he will be ready to take over.

Vinicius 18! he has plenty beautiful time here. just 18! he has to work so many on his skills, finishing, and other things. Teenager cant keep club ike RM on his shoulder. He will be ok.

Another reason why we should not bring Rodrygo in the summer.

People used to say the same about Asensio, taking over CR7's mantle and such stuff.

And sadly, he hasn't made any progression and is still a bench warmer.

There's plenty of young players who are starters among Europe's big clubs.

Vinicius is more than good enough to be a starter for Real Madrid & he's proven it.

It's already confirmed that Rodrygo will arrive to Real Madrid in this summer.

A mistake considering we will have 3 experienced forwards + Vin, Asensio and Lucas.

    I'd sell. Zidane won't though.

Could end up buried on the bench or could be an asset. We don't know yet to make assumptions.

I hope Zidane appreciated Lucas but tells him he has to find another club.

We need a serious refresh and he knows this. Same for Nacho, Kroos and possibly Isco.

Zidane said this about Hazard few years back. He's someone who appreciates players with flair and top talent. So not worried about Vinicius at all. Him and Hazard will start on flanks under ZZ.

“After [Lionel] Messi and [Cristiano] Ronaldo, Hazard is my favourite player. I love watching him because he is a player who creates things and it is often spectacular to see him play."

I agree. But still, going into a season with two youngsters and Asensio. Kinda to much if you ask me.

    Vinicius will be just fine.

People forget Zidane is a fan just like us. Watches the matches and had seen it all from diesel tractor to wonder kid club carrying Brazilian.

Probably part of the reason which energized him.

Vin is Zidanes type of player. Runs, dribbles, creative. He will be fine. Zidane isn't stupid

ZZ encouraged midfielders to shoot from distance when they have space and gets involved in shooting drills himself during training. I think he will help Vinicius with his shooting and help him to be calm in front of goal.

I though James would be a "Zidane type" of player. Their game is as similar as Ronaldo and Bale's are different from his.

Yet here we are with Zidane having to exact some kind of vengance after Bale kicked him out of the club.

James is not a player who can take on defenders. His best assets are passing, crossing, close control and a powerful left foot. His weaknesses are pace and lack of dribbling skills. He has 0.7 successful dribbles in Bundesliga. 1.9 for Vin in La Liga and 3.3 for Hazard in EPL.

I was already in bigsoccer in 2000.

Meanwhile, this pair has been twittering about each other. Have they ever met before?

My first FIFA was 96... for MS DOS, it was basically a WC with 8(?) teams in an isometric view. Crossing worked so well that you didn't need any other plans.

The first non-FIFA one was Super Soccer though, you had to win every game until you faced "Nintendo" lol. Good times.
