Did he say what color ms Chenard's new German car was?

I like the idea though. Pay off the ref with a car made in the opponent's country.

    Plausible deniability.

Good thing it wasn't France. She would have to pay for the upkeep on a Peugot.

Germany is getting tired of the U.S. beating them in tournaments:

    2004 Olympic Semifinal
    2008 U-20 Semifinal
    2012 U-20 Final
    2013 Algarve Cup Final

    etc.

2003 WWC was a long time ago.
It's been awhile since they beat the U.S. in a real meaningful match.

Sydney may never be a technical wizard or rack up the assists. But she does have the ability to create goals for her teammates and make the good pass. It's not a question so much of ability but execution with her passing game. She'll flub several attempts and then do something wonderful. Watch this feed to Alex with the Sounders which lead to a goal:

She's just missing the polish and consistency.

It's a lot easier making a play like that in an exhibition game against a 2nd rate non professional team. Is it me or is the defender guarding Leroux playing in slow motion?! Now if Leroux can make these type of plays against teams like Sweden and Germany, then I'll be convinced.

I think being the man on the Breakers is going to be good for Leroux. I realize she was the key player at UCLA but the pro game is much faster than college.
