    What?

Just noticed that the US girls won with 3:2 goals. Congrats!

Obviously, there wasn't much interest in this tournament and final (neither from tv nor from the printmedia). Really great advertisment for the World Cup next year...

China finished 4th so they are not that bad. Are they the best female Asian nation? Why wasn't Japan at the tourney?

Why doesn't China have any players in WPS??

Last year Han Duan played for the Sol. She had some good moments, but by most accounts failed to perform to expectations. I don't know why there are not any Chinese players currently in the WPS. Cultural differences, language barriers and differing playing styles probably all contribute. I haven't heard any rumors of the Chinese WNT coaches pulling their players back home, though.

Hard to say, I think probably North Korea is no1 in Asia at the moment. just ahead of China, Japan and Australia (in FIFAs world Australia is a part of Asia).

    They wasn't invited.
This is an invitation tournament run by the Scandinavian countries and with Iceland moved up to the 8 in A and B and since USA (that have been in the Cup since the start), China and Germany (that have been in it only a few years less) is pretty much guaranteed an invitation there was no spots left in A or B groups, and Japan is way to god for the C group.
Historically: when the cup started Womens soccer was domianted by US, Germany, China and Norway so it was rather obvious why those three was the first to be invited (not Norway, they are one of the organizers).

culture difference may a most important reason, and the troubled transfer way, also the women club in china isn't the same as others in Europe.women players have no broker....it's very hard and trouble ...many reasons.:(

the newest FIFA ranking is-North Korea, Japan, China,Austrlia, South Korea.....the "steel Rose" is a history.
Han duan played in WPS in 2009, Los Angele Sol.there is none player in 2010wps.but i think, after the AFC cup.someone will be in possible.

No, you need to reread my post and your post. I asked if there are any Chinese players in America, not WPS.

You stated you haven't heard of any Chinese coaches pulling their players back home i.e. Chinese players abroad being pulled home by their Chinese coaches.
