We shouldn’t be calling up Scottish league players. He needs to go to a better league if he wants to a call up and not be so laughably bad in his next shot

Weren't you screaming and shouting for Cucho last year even though he was D2? What about the Chinese league, we've certainly called players form there. We've called up players from MLS and we even had a WC call up with F. Diaz who was playing in Paraguay. My whole point is that Morelos isn't some desperation call. The guy is punching way above his weight and we should give someone like him a chance. SPL is not pretty football but it is very grueling, physical and defensive. Tough for el Bufalo who comes from a Colombian possession minded country. Yet, thru 3 managers in 2 years, he's still one of the best performers in the league....oh and they got him for about 1.3 million.... talk about ROI. They will easily get 10x that this summer.

    D2 Spain > Scotland

Players who came from China are just players the coach loved

Celtic and Rangers specially are historic clubs with plenty of pedigree. I'm not here to defend the SPL or make silly comparisons that no one can validate in any way but if you're going to have a league that struggles, I like the fact that it's a 12 team league. Meaning there expectations are in line. Because you dont watch any soccer I would suggest you go rewatch Sept Europa match Rangers vs Villareal (with Bacca) to observe both styles. You're underestimating Rangers to be a poor team that can't even compete.

Last but not least, I wasnt a fan of the Gio Moreno call up but Brazil and Argentina have also called up players from China so not just a Colombia thing.

Crzd wanted players called who were young and he said they don't have to be in top leagues. Now Scotland doesn't count lol

Anotó un gol este fin de semana en la goleada 7-1contra Motherwell. Fue reemplazado al empezar el segundo tiempo me imagino para que llegue fresco al partido que haya entre semana.

I started to watch the game when Morelos was subbed in. El Bufalo scored one with a nice shot and gave a great assist as Rangers won 3-0.

And before anyone asks why he did not start...
... I assume he will start for the more important match on Thursday during the Europa League.

He is a lonely striker and by far the most marked man in the league, and still scoring in every match. He should definitely be given more chances with the nt.

He is getting better and making some really nice goals.

Still don't know if he should be called up again in the spring but is making his case.

Surprising if he scored 20 this season to not have any transfer buzz surrounding him.

We don’t have other striker options currently other then Borja, Falcao, Borre and Duvan(super streaky it seems)

Could have been first game jitters but he was laughably bad. Hope to see him in the EPL soon. We have given much worse players shots in much worse form

You forgot about the player who scored twice in his debut? Also Bacca will probably be called up unless his injury is very serious. Heck even Jackson could be called up if Queiroz ends up being the man and follows Portugal as closely as I think he may.

Morelos is in the mix but I would not be surprised if he is not called.

All depends on the manager of course and what he thinks.
