He needs to go to a stronger league. Hopefully the EPL or English 2nd division to a team with hopes of promotion next season. Think he is at best a option for 2022 he still super young but has a long way to go

He made a huge progress since his disappointed sub-20 Sudamericano. Hopefully he'll continue like this to be considered by the new coach of Colombia after the WC. Grande Buffalo.

Yea but is the Scottish league even MLS good? I know some Mexican NT guys failed there but are Mexicans good outside their league?

I already said that I don't mind the strength of the league. Usually. I mean I probably won't call Preciado from the Chinese 2nd division but Scotland and Mexico have decent leagues. Our pool is not that large. I am for to give a chance to these guys after the WC.

Scottish league gets a call up then MLS and our league should get one too

This kid is promising but scoring 40 in India isn’t the same as scoring 10 in Spain. How many would Daryo score in Scotland?

There's rumors that Fenerbahce are trying to buy him, but so far the offers they've made haven't been enough, just £2,5 million, not enough in my opinion, Rangers won't sell him for less than £8 million.

If he gets as good at scoring goals as he is at creating space and being a pain in the ass for the defenders he could be considered for the NT if he goes to Turkey. Otherwise he Will be another Rodallega, very good at a lot of things but not at what really Matters for a striker.

The guy misses way too many easy chances. I am not sure if he will be considered for the National Team just based on that. But I could be wrong.

He won't be unless he Begins scoring consistently. Just scoring 18 goals in Scotland is incredibly dissapointing, and just by the highlights of the games I Saw he could have scored somewhere between 27 and 35 goals, he has a lot of great traits and physically he is incredible but unless he becomes very clínical in front of goal he won't get anywhere near the NT.

I think having Gerrard as DT will increase his potential. 3 DTs in just over a year is a lot to handle. Hope he gets his groove on. That finish was lovely.

Rangers has slowly but surely been coming from years of issues both on and off the field. Their previous manager, really wasnt ready for such a task and it's been a revolving door. Gerrard may not have the DT resume but he's learned from some of the best and has that leadership quality that players and fans respect. Considering he was managing Liverpools youth side he has developed an eye for talent and they're already further in Europa League prequalifiers than they were last year where they choked vs their 1st (weak) opponent. I also think for a guy like Morelos to be scouted in the future, it doesnt hurt when you have an EPL experienced player like Gerrard praising your talents. I think it's a good marriage for 2 individuals that are trying to stake a name for themselves. I was just happy to see that despite Morelos recent struggles with finding the net, that he still got the starting nod in a pivotal game.

Did gerrard have a really good coach in his career? he was famous and good player...and all epl is mediatic......but not neccesarily the contact with the best...more in liverpool that was a bunch of failures.

These guys arent good, depsite they were liverpool coaches

    upload_2018-7-27_12-16-53.png

and the list doesnt improve with english NT............

and good player inst the same as good coach...maybe you have reason but im not sure, why would be better than other, we dont have evidence about his coaching or about a good learning.....

Houllier and Benitez were very good coaches, can't say the same for the rest, after all, the best he had were in my opinion the foreign ones.

Benitez es un tecnico copero.......pero en mi opinion no es de los que suba el nivel de sus dirigidos....al reves muchas veces entran en conflicto.

Houlier estoy de acuerdo...aunque le toco muy joven a gerrard...

he was also under the guidance of Klopp while coaching at the youth level. Yes, great players dont translate to great coaches. And bad players can also be good coaches, etc... but Murty was a mess with Rangers last season and seemed to be not ever in control. Can't be worse than that.
