Hope he stays healthy.

 

I honestly don't know that much about Guido -- does anyone have insight into what type of midfield position he plays? Transfermarkt says he's a defensive midfielder but Wikipedia says attacking midfield. Or maybe he's both and is a versatile Jones-type guy. I do have some old game tape from the 2015 U-23 matches vs. Mexico and at Brazil, and it looks like he plays more of a holding position in those matches, but that's not necessarily what he plays with Club Tijuana.

 

CM/CAM Very good at making long passes. He is also pretty good at scoring headers.


Nowadays he is more mature and a little less of an impact player.

 

Started in Copa MX tonight, but was subbed off at 33 minutes. Smells like an injury, unfortunately.

 

Crap, and he just came back from a major injury. Shame, he's a talented player.
