Waiting for the new alien recruits to land? Are they also considered as foreigners? Do they have the capacity for a compatible cross-pollination? (in ref to the previous picture)
Photo is of Caleb Porter watching the solar eclipse last Monday. CP is current coach MLS Portland Timbers, but he once coached Akron Zips. Photo is characteristically CP, timing his viewing to maximize eclipse. I understand that Portland Oregon saw 99% ecplipsed Sun. I just thought it looked humorous.
Yes I guessd it, but just found a good opportunity to make a joke about the previous battling posts re foreigners, aka aliens
Did you watch it? Props to WAC Conference for excellent video fee. "It's getting so much better all the time!" GK Ben Lundt had a very bad night. His horrific clearance led to the corner kick. His attempted save of a relatively weak shot off said CK was a howler! http://www.gozips.com/news/2017/8/2...s-no-16-utah-valley-past-no-13-akron-1-0.aspx
Best match put together by Zips in 12 months. Akron 2-0 Washington https://www.ohio.com/akron/sports/u...nce-back-from-two-tough-losses-in-home-opener http://gozips.com/news/2017/9/1/men...n-with-2-0-victory-over-no-10-washington.aspx
Indeed. And Washington was a very good team. I was too busy watching the US shit the bed in the second half to see the 2nd goal. I imagine it wasn't as lovely as the first, but I honestly had no idea, and all of a sudden the ball was in the net and everyone around was cheering.
I sweet talked some folks to allow Mr. and Mrs. Holthusen to sit with me in the reserved seats. (The reserved seating was far from capacity anyway.) Stuart's mother waved the New Zealand flag when he scored. Stuart's father was with the AK Rowdies behind the goal when Stu scored, just feet away. This all went according to Hollywood script. But Sam Gainford's goal was spectacular. You missed a beauty. Sam received the ball on the left flank, dribbled to his left toward the end line and then (surprise!) cut back to his right. Right footed shot beat an excellent GK low near post, through a very tight window.
Mr and Mrs Holthusen should be pressing the All Whites to give their boy Stu a shot, as the national team was unable to defeat the Solomon Islands in the most recent Oceania Federation World Cup qualifier.
UCSB 1-3 Akron Zips dominated a pedestrian Gaucho side. Marcel Zajac with the brace, the first of which was very nice. I will try to get video on that one.

He's got a special mix of athleticism and skill. I think he'll be a great bench option for the USMNT before too long.
I know from speaking to JLew personally that he hates this notion. BUT he can be in the mix for USMNT before long at Midfield. OR he could convert to a truly world class Right Back. Maybe better than Yedlin.
Frankly, USMNT sorely misses Yedlin's athleticism. JLew would be a shot in the arm, even now. Yanks look old and tired.
Sophomore Marcel Zajac to TDS TOTW. How I wish I had video of his first score! What a strike! http://www.gozips.com/news/2017/9/1...-team-of-the-week-by-topdrawersoccer-com.aspx
St. Louis 0-0 Akron 2OT Very little sustained offense from either side. Match got stretched in 2nd half and each side saw some chances. Not a good advert for NCAA soccer. http://www.gozips.com/news/2017/9/1...-saint-louis-to-0-0-double-overtime-draw.aspx
Well, it depends upon which poll you want. MSU #1 in RPI. https://rpiupdatemenssoccer.blogspot.com/search/label/RPI Rank
