Dest's lack of athletecism kind of getting exploited here. He's been losing battles, a few times to CHO From Pulisic's perspective, the way the game is being played, he'd be a good sub on for either CHO or Willian around the 60th - as both have been struggling a little. CHO with creating when given space, Willian hasn't gotten on the ball
Impressive, Frank has the Chelsea parking the bus in the middle of the field. That is one compact formation. Defensive line high and midfield low. Credit to Chelsea they have set up to make this game difficult for Ajax. Frank is learning.
CHO has been poor, and the commentators refuse to criticize him. If he wasn’t English, the would be ripping him.
Dest is just young. he's going to make some mistakes, but he made a very nice run, just couldn't squeeze the pass in.

Well, Frank started this match with a formation that confused the hell out of Ajax, but they've found their weak link. In front of Dest there is space on the wing behind the midfielder. That's three times I've see that space abused.
Dest almost creates a goal there, but Dave juuust gets the tackle. And then CHO outpaces Dest into the box, but fortunately doesn't have nearly the end product to do anything there in this case
He's had some moments on the dribble where he made Dest fairly nervous, but yea his passing in and around the box needs to be a lot better. I like his aggression running at people though
