yes Ahn, let's have some playing time on the pitch - in the K-league even for a few months would be very good.

Finally! Cool links btw! I especially liked how they pointed out that HSH was 34 when he kicked ass in 2002. Ahn's age, 30. So if Ahn is willing, he can be more than a mere super sub in 2010.

Seolseol, come on, you knew Ahn wasn't going to europe. He would have a hardtime making it to the colaship. In the K-league, he will really help develope the domestic league however. Of course, there is a chance he winds up in J-league... but... doesn't really make sense for him to go there.

well he has been aiming for the European leagues for years - it's just a figure of speech, not necessarily that he still thinks he's too good for the league.

I gotta love Ahn. Japan's Nakata for unknown reason just quit football Ahn is still at it strong, and is trying to get back into the game. Of course, Ahn has more to prove. But with this humble pie he is eating, and with new drive, I think Ahn has the stuff to really vitalize the K-league. It's not like he was lacking Euro experience. We could seriously see Ahn again in 2010. That could be an awsome experience depending on how hungry Ahn is.

    Ahn's Conditional K-League Return

    1. Club must be within the Greater Seoul Metropolitan Area
    - FC Seoul, Seongnam, Suwon
    - Kim Hak-bum says that Ahn will not fit into Seongnam's squad
    - Suwon most likely bidder
    - Incheon cannot finance Ahn
    - But Busan I'Park is also bidding heavily

    2. Ahn wants to be the highest paid player in the league
    - At least 100,000 USD per month
    - Will not sign long-term contract because Ahn wants to go abroad ASAP.

    Ahn needs a serious ass-kicking.

That 100k per month thingy & short term contract were what he apparently asked for last summer - doesn't say anything of what he wants NOW. Read the article a bit more carefully, man. Even then, that's the account from a club official (identity unknown) who claims that he had a talk with Ahn.

Sounds like yet another jjirashi speculation to me ;)

You're right. But it's actually Ahn Jong-bok (ex-Busan Royals and current IUFC big boss) saying there's probably not a side that can afford him except one or two at the moment.

yeah, that's true. And even without the money issue apparently there's a bit of bad blood between Ahn and Ahn Jong-bok, so it does seem rather far fetched that he'll go to Incheon of all places.

Ahn Jong-bok, at least in the movie Bi-sang, seemed like a reasonable character. There's this part where he just shuts down the agent of Seo Dong-won, who asked to be the highest paid player within the club. The agent requested for the director to stop shooting. Next scene, Seo Dong-won was training with the club. Wonder what happened? Anyway, I want Ahn Jung-hwan to play for IUFC....or Suwon. Wonder what Cha will say if he doenst win anything next year.
