Geelong have been up for almost 2 months now, having won their previous 6 games, and could have been excused for being a bit flat after the previous week, playing Fremantle in shocking conditions. Add to that we've only won one and drawn one game at AAMI Stadium in 14 years, (both against Port) so I'm not surprised we lost. No harm done though, Carlton did us a favour by beating Melbourne, so a win this week against the hapless Hawks and we should be right for the top 4.
This weekend could be a goer, but enough about this so called "superiority" thing. All great champions lose occasionally... Tiger Woods, Ian Thorpe, the USA Men's Basketball team... actually they lose quite regularly these days!
Very true, but let me remind you of a fundamental truth here... [Tony K from PTI] I win! I win again! YES!! I've never lost!! [Tony K from PTI] Otherwise, I'll take my victory over the course of the season in stride and with the right amount of class and grace, and we'll be in touch tonight (and I'll give you directions to the pub).
Well you know what they say.... there's always a first time for everything, ie: you beating me! Remember the EPL Tipping League last year??
