Granted Freo finished that game with a whimper, but just how freakish was that Daniel Wells goal that sealed it for North Melbourne? Out of the ruck contest in the goal square, he marked it, played on, kicked it and landed all in one motion. Unbelieveable goal in a clutch situation by an amazing young player.
Certain goal of the year candidate...it was a remarkable goal under any circumstances, but as coffin nail to win away at Fort Subi gave it such magnitude.
No kidding... the timing of that goal made it even more unbelievable. As soon as Wells pulled that off, everyone knew that the Roos were home free.
Hopefully I'll be able to view the rest of this round tonight so I can get some tips in before Round 16 gets too much further along.
