Due to Indonesia's suspension, Cambodia will now host...this will be the 2nd time they have hosted after 2007.

Ok, so the 2015 edition started earlier in the week.

Here's a catchup on the results so far:

    Group A

    Malaysia 1:0 Vietnam
    Laos 1:0 Thailand
    Timor-Leste 2:2 Brunei

    Laos 3:2 Timor-Leste
    Brunei 1:6 Vietnam
    Thailand 3:1 Malaysia

    Thailand 3:0 Timor-Leste
    Malaysia 1:0 Brunei
    Vietnam 2:2 Laos

There's two match days left in Group A, the 3rd match day was played in torrential rain, with Thailand : Timor-Leste game abandoned at half time and replayed the following day.

Laos have certainly got in the mix with the big hitters.

This is a preparatory tournament for the AFC qualifiers that take place next month, Laos are paired with Malaysia and Timor-Leste so it's an indicator here of what there all about.

    Group B

    Singapore 1:3 Myanmar
    Philippines 0:1 Cambodia

    Singapore 4:1 Philippines
    Cambodia 0:4 Australia

    Myanmar 3:0 Philippines
    Singapore 2:8 Australia

As good as settled this group in the early matchdays. Australia and Myanmar will qualify for the semi's unless an extraordinary event happens.

    Semi Final Results

    Laos 0:1 Myanmar
    Australia 2:3 Thailand

Australia apparently went into the match up (according to Thai media) quite cocky, celebrating the fact that Thailand don't have youth systems. In fact, they do have some very good youth systems and a high calibre of players who make the break through. Australia possibly under rated this competition, but then again, it's only Under 16's, anything can happen.

one of the parents of the players that is over there following the team was keeping fans updated on an australian forum said they were simply exhausted and couldn't string a pass together after the 20th minute. 5 games in 10 days is tough for adults let alone 16 year olds

Don't they think they are good enough to beat us on their own merits? Why do they have to put the win down to opposition "cockiness" . Its entirely possible that they were simply the better team on the day.

It was an article before the game took place, Thailand knew they could beat them and thats why they were angry.

But look at RickChelsea comments about tiredness, to me he is making an excuse when it's the same for them all.

Well, erm, Thailand who beat Australia played one game more and one of these games was even replayed making them play 135 minutes more than Australia before they even met in a much more competitive group.

All teams played a lot of games, some more than others. Of course players were exhausted....didn't stop Australia banging in 10 in their final game though....surely they were still exhausted come that game?

Sometimes, just beaten by the better team.
