3rd Match day, Group A Thailand 6:1 Timor Leste Laos 2:0 Indonesia Timor Leste are out. Indonesia are on the verge of going out. Schedule has not favoured Indonesia and Timor Leste, both seem to have tired legs now and surely both can't wait to get on the planes home.

5th match day results from Group A: Thailand 1:1 Laos Malaysia 3:1 Timor-Leste Thailand come top on goal difference from Laos who both qualify for the semi's. Group B decided tomorrow.
Myanmar kids have made it to semis by winning the group. Myanmar 3 - 1 Vietnam; also Singapore 4 - 0 Cambodia. So, it is Sing vs Thai; and Mya vs Laos in the semis. Good going Myanmar!
...and Myanmar beat Singapore 2 - 1 to grab the third spot. Perhaps we should have made it to the final. But overall, not bad - congrats boys!!
It's all great winning and all, but lets face it, it's probably the best ever organised competition by the AFF. It gives the U16 squads time together in preperation for the big AFC qualifiers. Hopefully our regional teams used this tournament wisely to progress in the AFC.
