Need gov to push for all kids to take up football as sport in primary school, then choose the best to groom. Provide alternative careers for footballers who reach 30s, be coaches, PE school teachers, scouts. Ensure that parents are sold on the fact that football can be a viable career. Encourage football across all races. Hire football directors with experience, work with local football legends like Fandi and Sundram to better know the local culture. Adopt a holistic style of football, and grow it through the various age groups. Actively build cross exchange with stronger leagues and football clubs.
You didnt know Singapore already hired the one which transformed Belgium football as their director of football development. But Singapore still couldnt compete with Thai & Vietnam. Still, they have some yound talented players like both son of Fandi.
