You have no one to blame. You scored an own goal against S.Korea. You could win that match.

easy to say, last time we beat them in 1994(!), it was easier for them to draw with Iran at home than for us to beat Korea away

I still think you could either draw or win S.Korea with that backward coach they had. They took us to Ulsan which is a very humid place to have maximum home advantage over us and we still beat them. I won't forget their coach reaction and his staff losing their temper on the pitch. Their fan rained bottle on our team after them match. Seriously, that Korea team was really bad. Ask Korean fans themselves to get the Idea.

Btw, Japan had this coming and no wonder they showed such horrible results. 4 months ago, they lost 7-3 to Indonesia.

That weak Iran who sent their B team that game and still won 1-0 against Iraq? :ROFLMAO:

It's a privilege to play in our prosperous country, otherwise you would have to host your games in a warzone.

I'd rather play in Qatar or UAE than Iran.

Iraq also played their B-team against Iran. Don't twist the facts.

Apparently Iraq FA was desperately begging Iran to come in, and we couldn't help but to accept to have Iraq play their WCQ games in our country.

Let's be fair. Iranian fans won't like to host Iraq after whatever happened in AC between the fans. Iran is closest thing you can get for driving up that many Iraqi fans with low cost. Definitely our facilities are not at the same level of UAE or Qatar. Iranian regime is Iraqi friendly, at least for now. As long as there is no taunting, it is better to have your matches in Iran for your football federation. You can spend more on your team instead of renting a big stadium in UAE or Qatar.
Certainly, it is up to you which country you want to be your host. Ask your FA to change the venue if you are not satisfied.

I just looked it up and iraq played with 8 starters that were also starters in the quarter final game.
    Nice try though

Too many off topic posts. This thread can be re-started as a new thread as long as it stays on the topic of the Futsal Championship tournament only. ;)
