Alright, last comment I'm going to make in this thread before it gets retired...

First, I disagree with the bolded part. What makes these players different is that they have completely different levels of quickness and speed and it essentially forces them to utilize different qualities while playing. It makes them completely different. Also, the part about not being able to see how I see something in Lee that I don't in Adu is the same problem that this entire thread has man. Some people see something in Adu that others don't, that is just the nature of analyzing players isn't it? If we all agreed on everything this entire board would be smaller and would have far less constructive discussion in the end.

Anyway, like I said, PM if you want, I'm out of this thread until the next one starts.

To each their own bro. But yes, I too will say Adios until some more news comes out.

 

Not sure about heavy moderation, post limits might be an in between step.

Nothing real earth-shattering, just that apparently talks between Adu's reps and MLS weren't active during the last week of the MLS transfer window, which was the opposite of what I thought (with the WSR rumor regarding Adu and LA). Also, Motzkin (Adu's agent) said, "that after a failed trial with Swiss club Sion, Adu had returned to Greece and was 'trying to make his way back in with Aris.'" Doesn't sound like he is all that interested in MLS...until next year, obviously, then we'll see.

Also, I vote for Schrutebuck's thread title suggestion, just simple and descriptive. Unless someone has a great "realest egg sandwich" pun, can't get enough of that...

There was a time back in I think late 2003 when there was talk of giving Adu his own forum because literally every other thread in the Youth National Team forum was a new one about Adu (maybe even more than every other). At least we haven't gotten to that point.

I can't remember if we ever used Aris-ted Development.

 

I remember the suggestion confused people, and I don't think it was used.
