    Champions League Match Day 3

    SL Benfica v.s Celtics on 10/24 @ 2:45PM EST

    Here's Benfica rosters.

    Goalkeepers: Quim and Butt
Defenders: Luís Filipe, Léo, Luisão, Edcarlos, Miguel Vítor and Zoro
Midfielders: Katsouranis, Romeu Ribeiro, Maxi Pereira, Bynia, Rodriguez, Di María, Nuno Assis, Freddy Adu and Rui Costa
    Forwards: Cardozo and Bergessio.

For those who did not follow Benfica games recently, Adu appeared as a sub in Benfica's last three league games and scored 2 late equalisers. Hoping past performances will increase future play time.

    Let's KICK this.

Judging by the title of the thread, Freddy better be working on his jump shot!

I'm pretty sure it's the main game on ESPN2, which would make both YAB games the main games for the week. Hopefully both Yanks play!!!

i really really hope that this deposition i have tomorrow ends at a reasonable time, because i'm gonna be pissed if i can't go grab ......... ahem, "lunch" at ESPNZone in downtown DC when this game is on. Good thing is that the depo is downtown as well. I have a feeling that he may get a fair amount of minutes in this game, especially as toothless as Benfica has looked lately.

I'm a little upset. My ESPN2 telecast schedule is listing the Chelsea game tomorrow instead of the Celtic v. Benfica. Do your schedules list the Benfica game?

If any of the following teams are playing, it is unlikely that Rangers or Benfica will get on ESPN2 or ESPN Classic, unless of course they are playing one of them: Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Barca, or Real Madrid.

Seems logical that if Benfica wants to get more international TV exposure, they should play Freddy.

15-20 million fans worldwide. In the Guiness Book of World Records for having the most paying registered members 165,000 to Manchester United 152,000. Benfica are huge.
