LMAO US$ 375 for these? No thanks! Soleplate looks as bland as white rice and the collar just ruins the entire Accelerator vibe. Innovation is dead for adidas, all they want to do is sell.

@2k2tii based on my previous limited edition hunting, most likely 12 midnight (Pacific Daylight) and then use ProDirectSoccer. Or they might appear sporadically throughout the day, in that case maybe Soccer(.)com or even SoccerPro(.)com may have it.

The only Adidas boot that interests me are the X 17.1 leather and those are only for the pros. :(

Laceless Predators? Looks like they are going for an accelerator vibe! More to come tomorrow. I’m going for a very expensive limited edition?

they look beautiful for me. I like that its a modern take on a classic, but the prices are probably gonna be nuts.

Also, the new Predators that are coming out. Have to be fair they look alot better than what i was expecting. an LZ with a primeknit collar.

    They're up for pre-sale on soccer.com.
They are even available in larger sizes. Pretty steep pricing on the FG, but the turf is a more reasonable $219.99.

SPOKE TOO SOON THEY JUST TOOK THE PAGE DOWN, A MINUTE AGO!

They aren’t for me - I just think so much more could have been done with them. Plus what an impractical colour for the ones that are going to be worn on grass. I actually wonder just how much Becks had to do with the overall design of these boots considering they obviously just asked him what his favourite predator was and stuck it on a sock style boot. If they had of released an accelorator like they did with the precision? Now that would have broken the internet!

Did anyone on here cop the David Beckham Accelerators. I can't believe he went for white for the stadium pair. That's just crazy. I found this mini documentary about him design the boots with Adidas and his reasons behind the design. I love how he says something along the lines of 'It will be nice for all kids to get a chance to play in these'. he probably should have made them more price tag friendly then!

I have to admit - I thought he had chucked them together and hadn't had much input but it really looks like he is the one who's thought things through as simple as the design is.

Instagram user footybootaddict recently uploaded these photos of the Predator 18.1.
According to him, there are no rubber elements. Retail will be $225 for the laced version according to Footy Headlines. Total bummer about the rubber elements...basically just a more textured Ace.

Interesting... In pictures on FootyHeadlines it does look like there are rubber grips.. third picture down. Unless my eyes are failing me.

could it be a translation thing? the texturised upper looks pretty aggressive, enough to function like a rubberised element

the preds would look so much better without the tactile gold on them. black on black with a spot of red would have been killer. i like the look of the white ones better, but i'm not that flash any more. i'm excited to check them out though. they're on my list for this spring. i'll see if adidas can convince me to switch out of my mizunos, but that's a tough ask.

I actually like the gold. But yeah it'd be hard to go away from Mizunos.

Man this pictures makes it look like it has the pred long red tongue... I'm assuming they did that intentionally. regardless, looks badass.

Definitely not an old school K-leather Predator, but it looks a bit more Predator than Ace with the red "tongue"...

Does anyone know what the upper is? Footy says it's primeknit but it looks to me like it's more synthetic leather than primeknit. Especially in these pictures.

looks like they just colored part of the sock red to make it look like a tongue.
I tried to draw wings on back to fly and that did not work :)

The 18.1 Ace predator leather might be a good alternative

I don't think so. The red/orange is under the primeknit sock area and when it stretches a bit, it shows as red. See footy pic.

    I was being sarcastic :)
might have been great without the collar and proper tongue
