Yeah, he is. He's my wifes favorite player. Had him sign her custom Jahn jersey last year. Hes just a regular guy that loves his job. Good dude, i wish him all the best with us or Oklahoma or whoever.
Ah yes, the typical adjectives to describe those that lack talent. Hard working, scrappy, “not afraid to mix it up”, blue collared, determined, etc.
MLS employs loads of players that lack talent. Jahn has a great attitude and appreciation for the fans from what I understand. No one said he's a world beater or even staring material.

While true, anyone that gets upset with his spot on our roster needs to remember the days of Bedell & Shoenfeld. Remember how much time those two got? I have no problem with AJ compared to those guys.
Based on what criteria is Jahn "better by far" than 2 other reserve strikers that fit the same big, hardworking, eager mold that Jahn fills? Jahn has 12 goals in 3188 MLS minutes. Schoenfeld has 5 in 1570 and Bedell 2 in 632. All pretty close and because of the large discrepancy in minute totals, about the same. Any of the 3 would be a fine third striker to come in and hustle late in a game. If any of them starts more than 3 games in a season you're likely out of the playoffs. The only thing that makes Jahn better by far than the other 2 is that he did something extremely iconic. He took his chance and became a meme. Schoenfeld looks like a Bond villain's henchman and Bedell like a wind sock man outside a car dealership. They're all memes!
Better than the Big Celery? The playing career of Schoenfeld speaks for itself. I'd take him 10x over Jahn.
Adam Jahn had some great timely goals for the Quakes. Nickname, "Pillow Feet." Good guy, as well. A couple days before the trade to the Crew, on the morning of the 2016 All-Star Game in San Jose, he and I were among the volunteers collecting trash along the Guadalupe River bed as part of the MLS Works community service project.
If that's the only stat you need, add Alejandro Moreno to see how he compares during his time with us. Also, Jahn's gpm are better than both anyway. I base it on the fact I know the sport of soccer. Anyone who thinks Shoenfeld (or Bedell) are quality backups need to have their head examined. I'm not saying Jahn is great. I don't want him anything other than 3rd option. Sorry I missed the overall joke. Glad we have Mullins so the joke can actually be funny.
I’ll take Big Celery as my 3rd striker over Jahn He has better athletic ability , both are good guys that hustle so I like them both but only as that 3rd option
