I'd rather have Giuseppe Rossi than Torres to be honest.

    Money talks and well...u know.

He grew up supporting Atletico Madrid, but with all the injuries
and them constantly underachieving in recent years. He may grow tired of
it all and want a change of scenery.

a guy on the man united board said that berlusconi's magazine (whichever that is) is reporting that we are getting tuncay. if so, that is good news.

Tuncay is coming for free isn't he and knowing Galliani that will certainly be one signing. Supposedly the wage will be in the 4 million range which is a tad expensive.

Thats the thing. He's already quite established as a popular icon in Turkey hence his high wages which I suspect plays a part as to why he hasn't made the transition to another league.

Basically most teams don't want to match that contract.

Milan once were supposed to get Rafael Sobis, he would have been a star with Milan. I don't know why we didn't end up getting him. I don't mind Tuncay he will be classy and should score plentiful. Guiseppe Rossi will be great.

I think what Carlo said was a polite way of indicating Gila's days in Milan are numbered.

I think Gila is as good as gone this summer as well. It's a shame, because at Parma he showed that he was such a talented striker and possibly could've been one of the greatest strikers in the world right now, but something changed. I think he needs a change of environment.

But I bet as soon as he leaves he'll start scoring 20+ again...

So is it the formation that Milan plays or the selfish play of
    Inzaghi and Ronaldo???

It's probably the need to be the best player at the club.

it's because he was never used to a 2 striker formation.

At Parma they played a 4-5-1 with Gila up top by himself and Morfeo supporting him. Once he arrived at Milan he was Sheva's partner and had to readjust his positioning. Also he was to similar to Inzaghi so that partnership never worked out.

    Thank you.

It's funny the difference in emotions from last year to this year.

Last year one of our strikers said he was contemplating leaving Milan and there were many petitions to try to convince him to say.

This year one of our strikers said he is contemplating leaving and 50,000 rossoneri volunteered to help him pack his bags.

I gotta admit this new development is making me very happy. Gila couldn't leave fast enough for me. Every extra euro we make in this transfer break brings is one step closer to Eto'o, Tevez, Henry, or even Sheva. Which would all be a step up in class from Gila.

But he played as a lone striker this year many times and still looked like crap.

And learning a new position is no excuse for missing sitters. And he missed plenty of them this year.

it was also something psychological. I think he didn't fit into the environment as well, and he needs a club where he feels like the main man.
