Exactly. Just because we buy Rossi doesn't mean we can't play with another target center forward. A Rossi/Pato/Borriello front three would be capable of breaking down the minnows at the San Siro. But the real benefit of Pato/Rossi is in the big games. We just lost our best counterattacking weapon in Kaká. We haven't replaced that. As we've seen last year Ronaldinho doesn't have the legs anymore to keep up with Pato on our counters. Rossi would be the perfect foil to Pato on our counters. In the CL that will be essential. I just don't see how a Dinho/Pato/Fabiano trident can cause much trouble to the big boys on the counter. We need someone that can get the best out of Pato. Rossi would be the guy to do that imo.
