This is a new low for the team when we can't score a goal against Genoa's 10 men squad...

that balo penalty was awful. he needs to rethink his technique now that the secret to stopping him is out. all a keeper has to do is out-wait him. pick a corner and bury it, son.

 

We dominated game but every time we "attacked" we would sky it over the bar or miss a sitter and give the "Robinho-Matri" face. I think it was a 38 total shot tally with 10 on goal. Perin made some nice saves, but we missed a lot, a lot, of chances. Eventually we had Robinho/Kaka/Birsa/Balo/Matri in attack with De Jong as lone midfielder. The only thing we didn't do was send Abbiatti up on corner kicks. Def wasn't our worst game, but considering the circumstances it was brutal...

 

The finishing was definitely atrocious. They're trying too hard to break this slump and it's showing when the rush the ball.
