if it really was berlu laundering money. i would be impressed, it would have to go down as one of the more publicized laundering events of all time. would take some balls.... that said, i wouldn't be surprised if our baby daddy stopped the sale and "saved milan"
here's some good stuff from lapadula: http://www.football-italia.net/100428/lapadula-i-appreciate-milan-more i like hearing stories like his. hopefully he bangs in some goals for us in the run in.
Sacchi: Berlusconi is very sad to sell AC Milan AC Milan sale moves closer as buyer arrives in Italy Sacchi: Berlusconi very pained selling AC Milan Chinese poised to seal takeover of AC Milan AC Milan sale gives Fininvest more liquidity and new plans for future
Maybe now the club can get to the business of building a team around a legend like Mount Olives. He has had to make do with spare parts around him for far too long.
interesting piece. i started really following milan right after nesta started to decline. he had a back issue the first few seasons i followed, but he had a couple great seasons before he retired. i never really watched him when he was at his best. romagnoli has been good, but you almost don't notice what he does on the field for the most part, or at least i don't. i think that's a good thing because most of the time you notice a defender when he ********s up. i'll be watching him closer after reading this though.
http://www.football-italia.net/101572/poisoned-europa-chalice She makes a valid argument. @NickyViola looking out for you with this one.
Welcome back. Just thought I'd offer up an explanation for you when Fiorentina finishes behind Milan and out of Europe this season To be honest, aside from bringing Nicky back into this thread, I posted that article because I wouldn't care if we missed the Europa and the Chinese actually invest and we focus on a top four position next year. Since you're both here, I might as well ask if you guys have your avatars and signatures ready for 5 weeks from now?
The bet was just on avatars I believe. No sigs. I don't have any picked out as of yet. But I do have a few in mind. I don't forget George Michael even tho I didn't mind it tbh
if there's as much turnover in the squad as they're talking about, they're going to need real games to get the team clicking. preseason friendlies don't do that as well as games that actually count. the point is well taken that the EL can be a hinderance, but it doesn't have to be. all three of these clubs should be able to coast through the group stage with a second-ish 11 most games. after christmas, you look at where you stand in the league and decide whether it's worth trying to win the EL to get to the CL the following year.
In the meantime someone in the Napoli section keeps praying that they can become real champions of Italy again...one day.
