Impossible. I don't have weak thinking like that...unless money is involved, lol, that's why I never bet for or against teams I cheer for.

Milan won't be good this year they said. Milan won't qualify for Champions League they said. Balotelli won't help they said. Now, we watch...

this might sound ridiculous, and it is. but has ambrosini ever played CB? there have been a number of defensive-minded midfielders that have turned out to be good defenders. i'm sure ambro would do anything to play and maybe he wouldn't not that bad at it. mascherano made the transition and de rossi has played in the back as well. this is me just thinking out load in case he doesn't retire at the end of the year.

Would rather spend some money and get a CB or two.

Ambro has been our CB worst case scenario guy. I believe he even played their OR was talked about playing there a few years back when we ran out of options due to injuries. I really hope he does retire after this season BUT if he doesnt, I wouldn't mind him trying the center of a 3 man defense kind of like De Rossi plays with national team. Constant/Abate as wingers in midfield and play Mexes/De Sciglio w/ Ambro . THO thats just a bandaid if anything for defense. We need a quality Cb next to Mexes...

ambro can't play a full 90 any more. he doesn't have the speed or quickness to defend. he would be a disaster... a guaranteed sending off... each time out.

Stopping over my grandmothers tomorrow, bought her an oven, going to hang out while they install it. Going to check out my old room/closet and checkout my old jerseys while I wait. I'll take a pic of my old collection.

My white jersey like the last one has turned yellow. Grandmother is going to try some Granny magic to turn it white again. I wouldn't be able to fit in it right now anyway.

I have my newer things all here at my place. I got tons of stuff, don't buy many clothes that aren't soccer related often. Might have more clothes than my girl. I don't have any shorts. We should make a Milan collection or just a collection thread.

How much money would Milan make if we make the next round? I say if, cause I don't want to jinx anything.

We made 4.5 mil from sales rev in Barca game. Than we get a % from UEFA for qualifying for round of 16. If we make it to quarters, Im sure we would make another 4.5mil(home game sell out) PLUS a higher % percentage from UEFA. Id be approximating that IF we beat Barca in few weeks, we can net another 10mil.

Also, imagine where we were last year. We lost Round of 16, didn't win Scudetto and our team was in financial dispair. High payroll with no reward. However this year, we sold 2 assets for 60mil to clear debts, revamped team for future with acquisitions during January transfer for minimal $$$ and we are in prime position to qualify further in CL than last year with stars, while in good postition to make top 3 and qualify for CL. Its been a long way to get here, but looks like Gallani/Berlusconi did good. Good product at less money, with potential to be better. Sure the difference between a good team and ELITE was keeping T Silva. Can you imagine if we still had him. That would be something.
