Match thread time, my first as well so I know they will print this off to show to the players so that they are motivated for this match.

9/3, 5:00 AM AEDT for Aussies, 8/3, 1:00 PM EST for some of you Americans, 7:00PM CET for the locals.

    VENUE: Stadio Giuseppe Meazza

2017/18 UEFA Europa League, Round of 16.

Lately we have been utter trash, but hey I am sure we will turn it around without our record money signing forward against a team on a winning streak with a strong defensive game, away from home.

Oh god please don't wear the blue.

    COME ON YOU GOONERS!

I think 2-1 away will be the end result. Nacho to score, because he is currently our best striker.

Thanks for stepping up and welcome to the dubious distinction of MD thread starter. "Sillouetto of Milan"... nice. Scaramouche!

Assuming you'll be on a long run in this role ;) can I just request that you list dates as "9 MAR" rather than "9/3". We have mostly Yanks on this board and that would avoid possible confusion/mixups.

So Milano's not in Eastern Europe... why such an early KO time? TV slots??

Not sure he'll be fit. He didn't even make the bench yesterday.

Nobody really thinks that this game is in September, do they? :p

And I agree, I will remember this thread title for a while. That's something, innit?

So do we want us to lose so Wenger's positions becomes even more untenable, or do we want to win?

I'm not sure where we are as a collective fan base right now.

Of course we want Arsenal to win. That's first and foremost, especially in a knockout tournament.

I'm with you guys 100%, but from what I've heard there is a growing body of Wenger-Out's who are openly wanting our results to tank so as to hasten Wenger's departure... or so they believe.

Someone should let them know that game by game results mean nothing as far as Wenger's future is concerned. One way or the other, nothing is being decided until the end of the season.

The bar is pretty low right now. We cannot score and cannot create. I am going for a narrow 0-1 defeat or 0-0 draw.

We used to think those were the dark days...

Tear in my beer and all that! :(

I would love to win, but what some of you still haven’t grasped is how hard it will be to get rid of Wenger. We need all the help we can get!!! Cannot get further in europa

I feel an upset is on the cards. That said it might also be because I am drinking and want to do another matchday thread.

Yup, just checked Arsenal.com and we ARE wearing those dreaded (that is until at least until we actually win a match in them) blue kits, but, so am I, COYF'n'G!!!

AC Milan's home kits knock out the possibilities of wearing either our home kits (Milan's home kits are both red and black) or our third kits altogether, so blue it is. COYF'n'G!!!
