I would rather him there than Oxlade.

If Ox was full of confidence he's better on the right than Ramsey. Am I missing something?

That's a meaningless thing to say. I mean, if Ox was Messi I'd rather have him on the right than Ramsey. But he's not, and the hypothetical 'full of confidence' is just as ephemeral.

But more fundamentally, there's no evidence that it's true. Even when Ox is at his very best, evidence says Ramsey scores more, creates more, defends more, turns it over less and combines better with Özil. What does Ox do better than Ramsey? Run faster? Yeah, ya got me there.

You could make a longer video of his failed backheels, so where does he fit in lads? 12-13 Ramsey and I'm all for it, remember how excited he got to assist Rosicky at West Brom A? he thought, played and loved being a midfielder, ever since the return from his injury in 13-14 he has been obsessed with goals, the over sprinting not only shows his lack of discipline it also strains his hammy, 14-15 the Becks style cut came out & he was gagging to score goals and at times forgot he was a midfielder not the Dele Alli type, what he does bring however is 3rd man runs but do we need it? Cazorla is showing if you do your job as a midfielder the forwards will score. I got a theory you know how he flirts with Barca and RM? I say flirt but I mean a come and get me plea which is quite frankly cringe from him every summer, well lets get to the point, I'm sure he knows those clubs who traditionally love controllers not box to box midfielders won't ever go for him unless he was two things, a box to box who put up serious numbers as well as being a massive brand, hence the forced haircuts and photo shoots, see what it did for Pogba, Europe's elite was chasing him, so my point is could we afford to get Santi out for a guy who clearly see's his future somewhere else? bit harsh on JW too who we told to join on despite us overplaying him as a teen

ramsey has no place in our team at the moment. he's not suited to our style, and i'd argue that our quasi-gegenpressing that we do now is due to alexis, cazorla, xhaka, ozil, walcott being more adapted to pace, short passing and direct play. Ramsey would ******** this up and slow this down.

I'd be happy to have Wilshere back now, as he would fit in better with this. i think wilshere needs to learn from cazorla and not true and beat people, he's too small and weak for that, and this is why he gets lots of ankle injuries since players hack him down to catch him.

Disagree... Ramsey will find his niche in this team. I don't presume to know what it will be but, his talents are undeniable. And on a related note, I'm done writing off Arsenal players

not writing off, but being realistic, and looking at what is for now a winning formula.

Wilshere would never fit in this team

Ramsey would be a more attacking Coquelin. That's where he fits.

Ramsey cannot tackle. Wilshere could if he modifies himself be another Santi-type player.

You are not paying Ramsey to tackle
Ramsey is an offensive weapon .. And damn good one at that

We need him... For a deep CL run and league ... No question.

Ramsey is box to box who provides defensive help, links up with Ozil, and makes late runs into the box that create all kinds of havoc.

I think him playing centrally with Alexis at the 9 and Ozil at the 10 will present an interesting problem - they all like to work in similar spaces, and it'll need a few games before it produces its best results.

    Yes
I think they can all 3 play together .. Hell even with theo too
But they it would require a lot of switching and discipline and spacing... Which I am not sure we have seen a whole

not being Coquelin doesnt mean he cannot tackle. Ramsey is a tackler.

but that is not his game. Coq can tackle mainly and distribute, but Ramsey will disrupt our current balance.
