Anyone else pick this up yet?

You've got the Chili Peppers doing "Havana Affair", U2 doing "Beat on the Brat", and even the Pretenders and Tom Waits contibuting songs. Rancid does a nice version of "Sheena is a Punk Rocker" as well.

Solid hodgepoodge of artists, all with solid efforts. Worth the purchase for sure.

Garbage, RHCP, Tom Waits and Rancid do the only covers worth hearing imo, and it's not like Rancid did anything but play it straight out. RHCP's was the best.

why would I want to listen to a bunch of non-punk bands and artists cover songs by the greatest punk band of all time?

Not even Rancid, the spawn of the great Op-Ivy, shoulda touched this.

    o well! no big thing.
