If they're not ignored by the FMF as they've been so far.

    Paolo is leaving Europe

We’ve had a few young euro players who never panned out.

What about Santos' fullbacks José Abella and Jesús Angulo? They were good at the end of last season and are young. #MexicoNeedsFullbacks

All I know is Mexico must play Lainez a free role right between the attacking talent and the midfield. Not this isolated winger stuff that handicaps his impact.

Keep Jimenez. Cheech needs to go out. He shouldn't even be in the next WC so why keep calling him?

We are not going anywhere................we might have new and up and coming talent.......but we still have the same idiots in charge at the FMF......Unless huge things happen..................everything will stay the same just like 94, 98, 02, 06, 10, 14, 18................................and coming soon 22.

I actually feel secure in our defensive (correct me if i wrote it wrong):

    Salcedo
    Moreno
    Montes
    Araujo
    Reyes
    Gallardo
    Alvarez
    Arteaga
    Sanchez
    Angulo
    Mayorga
Even Esquivel (he is not worst than Valenzuela iugh)...

It's a shame that Tecatito played only ~30 minutes in the WC. He has to be incorporated in the starting attack with Lozano and whoever is the future striker for Mexico.

So Jona Gonzalez isn't good enough to scratch the first 33 players.

    Uh huh.

This is actually a pretty good list, that along with a few others that will come along in the future. The thing is we have to get to work now..................not tomorrow, not in a little bit, but right now. Some of these will pan out, but the work must start now.

Yep, I agree with you.. besides we also have:

Ponchito (He recovered his level last season)
Madrigal (I always thought he was a good FW)

They need to get rid of most of the squad. Start fresh, with young talent, and get them ready for a deep run in 2026 at home. With the expansion to 48 team, qualifying via CONCASHIT should be relatively easy.

Yea, someone needs to pull him to the side and tell him it's time to retire. So sick of seeing his old mummy ass on the field. Just leave and let the next guy have his turn. I'm still pissed Aguirre took him to South Africa.

It makes the league look bad, having a small chimp like little dude still playing at the age of ...what it is...45??

I see these guys making the world cup with absolute certainty.

    Ochoa
    Lainez
    Pizarro
    Guzman
    Tecate
    Salcedo
    Reyes
    Araujo
    Herrera
    Lozano

Nice squad, but not confident they're world beaters. With the right coach + experience they can have a great cup, but the generation with Vela/Gio/Chicharo was the one that should have made waves.

Lozano/Herrera/Lainez/Tecate are key. If they can make the jump to a serious club and have an important role, then I would feel better about our chances.

Well said, these along with others must get valuable times in their respective clubs. From there they must go to Europe to pretty decent to good teams and actually get playing time for goodness sake. I take Qatar as a stepping stone with a project already in place finally making some noise going into 2026. We can do it if we finally get the youth and transition them.......................but damn the time is now!!!
