The more I think about it, maybe our issue is the goofy looking crest we have. From the cartoony-tiger (I think it even has lash extensions) to the pastel blue color I think we need something fiercer and more tuhon-ish. Even that nondescript green kit looks classy because DFB's crest is top-notch.
I think it's a case of us having for it for so long it's looking crunky now whereas foreigners might think it looks cool. It's worn on me as well. It's starting to look cheesy to me
Great design is timeless. Our crest is looking dated because it wasn't that great a design to begin with imo. Hasn't the DFB logo in its current iteration been around longer than ours?
Am I the only one who thinks our crest looks fine and shouldn't be changed...? What's so cartoony about it, that's a pretty realistic and non-cartoony drawing of a tiger minus the colors.
I am in the camp of "current KFA crest looks cartoony and no good". I am also disappointed at Nike for past several generation of ugly-@ss kits. That being said, the more urgent issue is that Korean players need to have better haircut. The only haircut I approve of right now is Lee Yong's.
Bring back the Blue shorts or at least let the team wear the god damn Blue socks like it was originally intended to.
Why does it matter when the team itself insists on wearing all red? We look like Team China except oh wait, Team China actually has a nicer shade of red than we do. Why does Nike keep straying back towards pink/salmon/magenta crap. 2012 was the perfect shade of blood red/crimson imo. The current kit is actually not that bad.
Someone already posted here that it is crimson in person. There's a sheen on the fabric that changes the color depending on the light.
