All three AFC Teams at the WC under Nike (Korea, Australia, Saudi Arabia) got the short end of the stick, neither teams are a part of the Fast Fit Vaporknit lineup, instead all teams have the new Nike Astro Mesh Dri-Fit kits.
Damn USA kits look great. Too bad they have nowhere to wear them...lol. Still, I might get one. https://news.nike.com/news/usa-soccer-federation-2018-collection?cid=4942550&cp=usns_aff_nike
That answers my question, A Gringo is the head of Korea Nike's Designing Dept. KNT is the Read Headed Step Child and KFA is Nike's Prison Bitch.

Not totally on topic, I was seeing what nike.com would sell in US (weirdly Poland), but Mercurials are designed by a Korean: https://www.nike.com/soccer/bootroom/t/behind-the-design-mercurial-360/
I'm on hold till the player issue version is available. You should cop the Home first since the red/black combo (imo) is very clean and stands out as well.
I'm gonna be buying both pretty soon. They just became available online yesterday, but still debating on size right now
This may have been covered by someone already but judging from the WNT match today, looks like we're at least starting w the H M SON lettering construct.
Any idea on when the player issue version will be made available for sale? I live in the US but am hoping to get one.
Vapor jerseys won't be issued for AFC teams so you'll have to stick with the replicas this time around.
No, albeit our kits not being a part of the Vaporknit line-up, there is a player issued version for the Astro Mesh Dri-Fit kits much like last season where we weren't a part of the AeroSwift line-up but player issued version of the 16' Dri-Fit kits were being sold through some main stores and third-party stores. Do note, it doesn't matter whether our kits are a part of Nike's latest line-up or not, there will always be a player issued version of the kits we're issued, however the chances of it being sold in stores or online are very slim. Nike and other stores usually has a limited number of the player issued kits in stock, but in cases like in 2012, 2014, 2016, there were 1. released later on within those years, and 2. majority were sold elsewhere aside from Nike's main branches.
