What about the full backs? D'Ambrosio and Criscito are the only ones I see on the list. I guess there is more players to come though. We should try a 3-4-3 maybe? -Insigne-Immobile-Chiesa- -Bonaventura-Cristante-Jorginho-Bernardeschi- -Chiellini-Caldara-Romagnoli- -Perin-
I myself would go with this in your 3-4-3: @Italy-Azzurri-Fan ... err. i mean @Mean Machine Eder - Destro - Candreva Giaccherini - Montolivo - Sturaro (captain) - Padoin Ogbonna - Ranocchia - Bocchetti Marchetti #UnSturaro...C'eSoloUnSturaro!
A squad with players that have won major trophies with a winning mentality. All those players have no winning mentality. Just like the team that lost to Sweden.
No Caldara is so promising. Do you know how many Juve fans were furious about the trade between Bonucci and Caldara? Immobile has received a lot of criticism, but I feel that he has found the back of the net the most times for Italy recently even under Ventura. We definitely can try Belotti, but I just feel Immobile has more clinical up front. We'll see.
LOL. i'll correct this phrase for you: "Most Ronaldo fan boy fake Juve fans have never seen him play" the rest of us have.. and as much potential as Caldara has.. Bonucci now is a better player and especially in a 3 man back line there is no way you don't have him starting in the middle.
my question is where are these players at? winning mentality? I mean unless you just plan on taking all of the Italians that are on Juve .....lol
Tell me when in all of italian history has the italian national team won without players that were winning trophies ? Ill wait. The few italian talents that italy has are all fragmented on different teams there needs to be a more top italian talent playing with each other on the same team. Milan might be dog shit right now but at least they invested in some italian players. Juve a team that has been considered the "farm" for the italian national team doesnt even use italian players anymore.
And what about your beloved Napoli? they played 1 Italian last weekend. Its up to these bozos in charge of Italian football to change things roots up and start with better player development. Unfortunately I have no faith in such.
I would start the following team against Poland: Chiesa - Belotti - Bernardeschi Bonaventura - Jorginho - Cristante Criscito - Chiellini - Bonucci - ?? (hopefully someone better than d'ambrosio gets called up) Perin Players whos teams use a 4-3-3 formations currently or recently: - Bonucci, Chiellini, Caldara, Romagnoli, Bonaventura, Cristante, De Rossi, Jorginho, Parolo, Insigne, Pellegrini, Chiesa, Bernardeschi, Berardi it's not my fav formation..but with what they're playing at club level..makes sense
I just don't agree with the need for Italian teams to start a large number of Italians. To be honest, teams are going to play the best players they can. Maybe the talent is just so poor right now in Italy and that's why you see teams filled with foreign guys It's not as if France was filled with guys from Ligue 1
I know how many italian players my team plays. Also Italian players need to get their asses working hard. No coach in their right mind plays the lesser talented player.
your team has like 3 italians on the whole roster.. it's not like you are wasting any away on the bench.. u barely have any to start with. Should probably just cheer for argentina like the rest of napoli did in 1990
