Zero pace and zero physicality. If Monto was worth half a shit he would have been transferred to a big club for $$$. But no big team ever came looking for him. Instead he went to Milan on a FREE. That's everything you need to know about Montolivo.

Monto was decent, not spectacular by any means but he was pretty reliable. Insigne is and has been one of the best players in Italy, anyone arguing this should get their heads checked.

he went to Milan on a free because Galliani would get players on the cheap. he was a transfer guru. Milan is a bigger club than Napoli bud. always have been and always will be

He went to Milan on a free because no other team was willing to sign him while he was contracted you dunce. WTF does Galliani have to do with anything. And what does Napoli have to do with this either?

The collective IQ of this place must be in the doldrums

Pirlo had multiple transfers during his career tallying millions.

    Montolivo couldn't draw a fly

Have to say that Montlolivo should never be mentioned in the same sentence as Pirlo. That's a tottifan delusion.

Ugh I'm not so sure. Montolivo is very slow and would have easily gotten overran at his age now.

Another transfer window is closed and Serie A just got more foriegn again. I wonder to see starting lineups these first couple of weeks, there is only a handful of clubs that are majority italian, not good!

Buffon still has it. Looking incredible with PSG thus far. One last run to the Euros?

Juve getting Pirlo from Milan for nothing was a sort of genius move.

    New York City FC paying Andrea Pirlo $2,315,694 , $5,610,000 & $5,915,690
respectively or what was $13,841,384 for 60 games, 1 goal and 18 assists was the stupidest move ever....

So will Perin be wasting away on Juve's bench like Rugani?
