I like the new functionality. The index on the left is really cool. Two things I dont' care for. First, the mis-matched color scheme. That big bright red and gold banner and red headers, combined with all the pastel colors in the forum views is just plain weird. But I guess if that's the biggest complaint then the site's doing pretty well. The other thing I noticed, and this may be a product of it still being worked on, is that the forum is slower than it was previously. All in all, very nice job!!
Lose the kicks please. They are simply confusing. Also, anybody else using Firefox have trouble making it fit the screen? IE it looks fine, Firefox I've got to pan and scan all over the place.
Have you noticed that in life, when something changes, the most vocal people you hear are the complainers? Rarely a positive comment -- The home page does have a classier, more cleaned up look now. For a newbie coming in first time, I think it's very nice looking. Ditto on liking the new left side menu, that's pretty cool. -- Two thumbs WAY up on bringing back displaying the user's rep on each post. That said, here are my (hopefully) constructive criticisms: 1. I also do not like the default skin - I dislike the font and the layout. Gray was my favorite of the old skins. I have changed to the Wizards skin which is mostly white, gray, and some silver and blue so that's fine, I can live with that. 2. Why have you removed showing everyone's favorite club or team on each post? 3. Ditto on disliking the Kicks. Does ANYONE like that? 4. When will search be re-enabled? 5. Only 15 posts per page has GOT to be changeable. I used 40 and detest message boards that force me to click every 15 posts. Thanks for your efforts.
umm...I don't care what you notice in your life but have you noticed that most posts in this thread are actually positive toward the new site? Complainers being the most vocal,I have no problem with that. A wise-ass dumping identical posts in the same forum without bothering to read each thread,I can't stand.
Dont like the white background it makes it confusing. i want my grey skin back I also like the My Bigsoccer button it was easy Still confused by the kicks Other then that it looks classy
I have no idea what the problem about the kicks is. If you don't like them, don't use them. If you like a thread, kick it. If you don't. bury it. Simple. Lighten up, folks. It's a message board.
OK, so it can be a little cluttered. I can buy that. But I paid for it too (although I think statements like that are just a little dramatic) so shouldn't my opinion cancel out yours and let us all go on our merry way?
