The comic book cover in the link below is a riff on an album cover, probably from a 'punk' band. But for the life of me, I can't think of which one. And its making me nuts. Come on, help a brother out. Thanks - shades http://www.comicscontinuum.com/stories/0209/06/poc.htm
Are you sure it's from an album cover? It looks like it's a takeoff of Men In Black. (Which, for all I know, could be a takeoff of an album cover.) (Tried to find a picture from the end that has Smith, Jones, and Linda Fiorentino, but couldn't.)
shades, it reminds me of Blondie.... do you read this mag? I've been collecting it, but I haven't gotten around to reading it yet...I missed issue #4 so I gotta plug that hole before I can start reading...
Reminded me of Blondie also, but I looked at their album covers on amazon.com and none matched. And yeah, I read it. Love it in fact, one of the best series going in my mind. With this story line, the covers are take offs of punk album covers. Two issues ago was 'In the City' by the Jam, I couldn't place last issue, and this one (comes out next week) is driving me NUTS. Try hard to find issue 4, and then read em, its well worth it.
