A school district in northern Georgia unanimously voted Thursday night to arm teachers with guns who volunteer to carry. Teachers will be permitted to have guns holstered but will not be allowed to have guns in bags or purses under the new policy.

Fannin County School Board approved the proposal that said employees must be approved by the Board of Education and the Fannin County Sheriff before being allowed to carry a gun on school campuses. Approved teachers will be trained on judgment, pistol and long gun shooting at a minimum, WSB-TV reported.

 

I am interested in their protocol in how armed teachers are going to break up a fight. Wade into 2 or more students fighting with a gun strapped on you or stop, safely lock up your gun and then go deal with it.

 

What? Just fire a warning shot into the air. Geez. You libs make everything so complixated.

 

Shoot them all and let God figure out who started it?

I was half wondering who'd need a long gun anyway, when trying to defend themselves against a shooter in small spaces like a school hallway?

People are so silly. Everyone knows the best option for arming teachers is the Mossberg 12-gauge pump with chainsaw handle -- the "Zombie Killer."

 

This is what I would use if I had a gun.

 

Looking at the graphics, the handle and the name... this things is being marketed as tho it was a toy. With a special light in case you want to kill somebody in the dark.

 

Pump, I don't think so. 1100 semi auto or the Benelli is the one for me. Short stoke a pump easy to do in a panic and yo daid.
