LOVE the hoops on the socks, now put a red shirt with white sleeves and VOILA~! Classic Arsenal look.
I can't believe they won't do that for our first kit with them. No way they piss people off right away. Like Nike, they'll wait.
Home kit WILL be red with white sleeves like Henry was wearing in that leaked pic from the Fall. We should all be concerned if they don't do a "fan edition" which is more generous in its proportions. Also fairly certain that the away will be the exact same template as home but yellow with blue sleeves. Again, if they do a loose fit for fans they should hit it out of the park. Further evidence of the red/white is the keychain on Ladyarse.com (blurry - sorry): More pics at http://ladyarse.co.uk/2014/01/more-arsenal-puma-photos-emerge-photos/ G17
Few more pics here (I think most have been seen here already). http://ladyarse.co.uk/2014/01/arsenal-puma-kit-catalogue-leaked-photos/
Well that and Cesc plays for a club that we are actually competing with theoretically. Henry is a weird exception in that he's still quite active with the club in a way few former players are. I assume he has the permission of his current club as well.
Yeah, Red Bulls probably just look at it as a positive to have the face of their franchise plastered anywhere.
Am I the only one that's a little excited for the Puma switch? I haven't been unhappy with Nike, but a) it seems like Puma will honor kit traditions and b) I'm excited for some of their peripheral/training-type wear.
Yes - I'm excited for something different. Ironically, I think that means the home and away will be very traditional (red with white sleeves home and yellow with blue away). I can't see Puma rocking the boat right off the bat with a purple number or navy stripes on the sleeves. They'll want to gain our trust before they do that. Also - I saw in the catalog pics there is an entry for both an authentic and replica shirts with the replica going to size xxxl. Good news as this will likely be looser in fit than what we've seen so far.
That's not really anything new, though. The standard jersey supporters buy is $90, but if you want the authentic "field-worn" type kit, you pay double. Nike's had a similar thing for years, but I forget the terminology they used for their on-field kits.
Hmmm, what does "Concordia heat transfer" mean? We have the club badge, club wording (sponsor?), and 3 puma details (dryCELL, puma cat, and authentic product tag).
It's speculation only, but perhaps they're putting a "Victoria Concordia Crescit" Script on the back of the collar or something. I know the German Nation Team kits have "Deutscher Fussball Bund" in subtle text in that spot, and it's a separate transfer.
I saw that too. Is that what that means, and is that normal for Puma? I really don't hope we go to a one year cycle. Even at two years, it's hard enough for them to change things without trashing traditions (and good taste).
looks like drs Crusher and Bashir are our january signings... http://arsenaldirect.arsenal.com/nike-performance/nike-training-top/invt/545051w
I am in http://www.wysjg.com/arsenal-c-1_86/ to see the next season Arsenal kit is designed by adidas, but many say this is the online news Puma design. This is how it was.
