I tried to buy the LS home shirt. It was going to be back ordered for months, so I went SS. This new shirt does snag badly.
I just got back from England last week, and YES the staff at the Armoury and the Finsbury park store confirmed this for the away kit at least. Seemed like they had the home kit. They told me that when Özil was signed it was mental and they sold tons of kits way faster than ever before. I was bummed as I was going to buy an away kit and have my #4 printed on the back. I was able to buy one off the official USA online store, says it will ship in February. I doubt that Nike will turn down money, but it sure seems like they won't be giving the club large allocations anymore. I asked if, in the event that we won the league, they would still press the gold PL patches on what will be the "old" kit at that point...they said yes. Hopefully I'll be sending my buddy in London a package come May...
I was looking today to see if I could still get a youth away kit (low availability, they said), but I ran into a preorder for adult away kits (the current away kit). Which doesn't make sense, but they list all sizes, all players, expected shipping in February. Are these things for real? Why would TH14 be in so many of these leaked photos? AFAIK he doesn't have a contract w/ Puma does he? It just seems odd. Anyway did they ever ask the players if they would like to wear these skin tight tops?
Henry has a contract with Puma. Do you guys think the pic is fake or something? There were pics of this shoot on the net in October.
A "friend of a friend" is in the business and showed me some pics he took at a Puma rep meeting. The picture hasn't been posted to the internet yet, but there is a waist length navy blue and puffy "Wenger coat" in this Puma lineup as well. If memory serves from last week, it's got a contrasting white zipper.
Wenger is quietly praying they did a better job on that zipper than Nike did. That turned him into folklore and late night comedy. Edit: I just looked it up and Henry does indeed wear puma boots for the last 2 yrs. I hadn't caught that, but now that explains his body in the new kit propaganda.
In his recently released Arsenal legends documentary TH14 has his Puma suedes feature prominently whenever the camera is positioned high and aimed at the photos he's examining so he's definitely out promoting Puma as much as possible.
