I think we can all agree. Well almost all, I think SnakeEyes would prefer a sudden freakish storm of biblical proportions that turns C-bus into a sheet of ice! ;)

You won't be saying that when you see the notorious Ohio Exposition Center parking lots after three inches of rain.

    Bring pontoon boats.

Hey - does this "card stunt" mean that there's no Big Ass Flag?

Nope, not at all -- the Big Ass Flag will be there...

    Rich,

    How's this for an idea:

    * Do the card stunt as planned - when the players from both teams march out and line-up pre-anthem.

    * When the anthem starts, raise the Big Ass Flag, and everyone who has a scarf or flag (who's not immediately under the BAF), hold it aloft for the anthem.

    Thoughts?

I just hope it doesn't stall when it gets inland. That would put it over Columbus Friday or maybe even Saturday.

    Thanks!

Well, considering that I lived 14 years in New Orleans, and that my parents still live there, my interest in the weather's just a bit different at the moment.

Serious prayers for them and the rest in the area. This isn't a laughing matter this time.

They evacuated this morning, but I'm also saying a few prayers.

So many people don't have the ability to get out. No money, no car, no one to help. A lot of the elderly. Very frightening.

Fortunately, they say the bars in the French Quarter are absolutely jammed. If the city's getting blown away forever, these people want to say goodbye in the New Orleans way.

Thanks fid for the B-A F info. Wouldn't be the same without it. I guess this means the guy who was more or less sitting on it finally coughed it up.

Long story short of that one - US Soccer had it the whole time.
