9/3 US vs Mexico US Supporter Info (Part 2, as in 2-0)

Here a strategy that kind of worked for me...

I opened two web browser windows at the same time. Searched for 1 ticket in one browser. When it found a ticket I used the other browser to search for that same general section for a single as well.

I did this until I got two tickets vaguely in the same area - one of the tickets is for seat #1 so either me or my friend will just hang in the aisle so we can at least be together.

I don't know if it's that ticketmaster totally blows or if the game is already that sold out...guessing it's a combination of the two.

 

Thanks for the info. That gave me the nerve to buy two tickets singly.

I pieced together 4 single tickets as well. 3 of the 4 are in section 206, (Row 11 seat 26 and seat 8, and Row 13 seat 26)

And then they gave me one across the park in 227 (row 1, seat 10).

You can def. use the password more than once and I would be willing to offer up my last 4 ticket allocations if somebody would be willing to help me either get all 4 seats close, or atleast 2 and 2.

Anyone intersted?

Ignore what I was saying earlier. It's still letting me look. I guess you can use the password until you use your 8 ticket allotment.

I would only consider giving up a PW if someone had several thousand posts that were in US forums and were consistently from a US fan's perspective.

Someone that has less than 100 - just created recently - doesn't have a lot of credibility that they are a US fan.

 

I just bought 6 $68 tickets in section 124 from the friend of a co-worker for $120 a piece. He bought a total of 8 and only needed 2 tickets for him and his son. This is america and its all about the dollar bills.

How many rows are there in the top deck at Columbus? I got row 8 in 209. That is pretty good, right? Or is that the last row or close to it?

 

***Ticketmaster Update****

*sigh* apparently ticketmaster's site isn't so great. Earlier on I could only submit an order for a single ticket...so I bought 2 single tickets in nearby sections.

Now 2 1/2 hours later, on a whim, I did a search for 2 tickets and got two together in Sec. 104.

If you had problems purchasing two tickets together earlier in the day give it another whirl. I'm sure I'll find folks willing to take my original 2 singles off my hands.

Interesting--I've been going back to the site throughout the day to see how the sale is going and recently I've been getting notices that there are no groups of 2 tix together. makes me feel less unfortunate that I got second-deck tix at 10.15 this morning. ah well, being at the game is the important thing.
