    Leverkusen strike 1-0

BvB had been under attack for the last 10 min

    1-0 'cusen.

Otherwise known as cologne's parking lot.

Also, Thomas 'red shoe diaries' Delaney with a six minute yellow.

The situational awareness on the BVB side is crap right now. I've lost count of the careless ball losses by BVB players; are their necks not working or something?

THat was almost hilarious....Dortmund defenders ping pong the ball within their own box...

    Kusen 2-0

    Abysmal. 2:0

Edit: BVB look like they are sleepwalking.

dortmund has to make two back passes in order to switch fields, its useless. they are not dynamic in the least

This game is incredibly boring for long stretches until Leverkusen decides they’d like to score.

    Soccer amateur here.

Feels like Dortmund have really struggled providing outlets to their wide players when trying to push the ball up the field. Both Pulisic and Larsen seem like they've been pinned pretty well to the sideline and had little options other than back passing to the fullbacks/centerbacks.

Leverkeusen really shutting down the middle of the field.

The last time I saw this many bad decisions inside 45 minutes it involved alcohol :-|
I have to think fatigue is playing a role here. But Favre clearly doesn't have this team playing as a team. It's so frustrating to watch after having seen how they used to play.

Give some credit. Leverkusens passing has been very sharp

    Fair.

On a brighter note: Already 2 very positive plays from our boy. A good early cross, that led to a chance, and a corner won through some hard work...

Followed immediately by a dangerous attack from Leverkusen.

BVB already looking sharper and more aggressive. Puli pretty involved... but the back is still looking very shaky.

Speaking of which... a shot off the post by Leverkusen, and a last second clearance from Zagadou preventing the shot on open goal

Honestly this game looks like 4:0 and 2:2 are equally likely at this point.

When CP spends more time defending on the wing, you know where this game is going.
