Darn. Sargent with a great chance that is saved at the near post by Burki.

Bremen's backs cannot backaway that far. That's just silly. Someone needs to press the shot.

Josh with a quick shot on goal in the 78th but it's not a very good strike and the keeper saves at the near post down to his right

He wasn't onside and probably knew it. It was by a few yards.

But he had another opportunity that fell to him, decent first touch, however still probably didn't get it out ahead of him enough to have a lot of oomph, and probably should have tried finesse to the far post to have a chance.

Hasn't been the killer in front of net that he was as a youth. May take a few to go in and build confidence from. That's supposed to be what you can count on from him.

Last ten minutes should be exciting. It’s opening up and Sargent is looking comfortable. I smell one more chance for Sargent unless he comes off or BVB scores.

Sarge feisty to break up the Dortmund attack. Need to hold on for 10 more. Gonna be tough.

Sargent going 90 with confidence from his coach. The opportunities are there for the taking. Ten more minutes...

dang dangerous corner that sargent almost gets on teh end of before it looks like a teammate does, with the carom from the header coming off burki and almost into the path of the sargent for the zardes special

not a header just a dangerous cross and it was a burki intentional punch

There it was! A chance for a header, missed. Now he’s off for Pizzaro.

Sarge out - he was clearly tiring. Lots of running. Good game for him. Could have scored a few times, and would have been a true hero. but didn't hurt his cause either.

Oof I thought all subs were used. Josh off for Pizzaro.

BUT Josh looks like he can be a 90 minute striker to me with this performances. It’s against a difficult team in one of the most difficult environments. He follows instructions and has taken chances. It’s only a time for the goals...

Credit to Bremen’s management of his development.

He’s awfully flat footed at times which makes me agree with you. He needs a beep test and program.

transfermarkt had hakimi at 35 million before that cross, which mightve been bad enough to get him down to 20 million lol

Decent game for our boy, enough to get him another start while 60% of the squad is injured/recovering.

I felt like he covered a lot of ground today. Saw him back in an LB position at least twice, had to juke and break for long balls a few times.

He's not LD fit, but I think he covered a decent amount of ground today. Of course, more fitter is always more better.

Pretty good game for our boy. At Dortmund is a tough place to make a mark, but I thought he did well. Certainly should continue to be in the mix for regular minutes.
