CP looks fantastic. Had about as clear of a penalty as you can get waved off. Defender stood on his foot in the box as CP beet him. CP could have taken a shot earlier but decided to dribble instead and won a corner. Other than that he's been great and his touches are about as tight as I've seen them. BVB is giving them all they can handle at the moment. 17'
Dortmund need 1. faster, better service from the backline, 2. dahoud needs to stop running with the ball and start passing earlier. 3. Dortmund need to be a bit more patient. They don't have enough good passers to break Hoffs 9 man mid/def.
Tactically Dortmund are pressing very high. Hoff could care less, it gives them time to spread the team and find passing lanes. Dortmund backline especially the left back and CB's not very good. Reus expending a lot of energy with the one man press. CP not getting stuck in. In general it still looks like a work in progress with far less talent than they are used to fielding.
CP with a sweet run in the mid and nice pass outside to Pizz. CP should really spend more time in the middle of the pitch. Bring in Sancho, take out Kagawa and let CP take Kawaga's spot.
The reason why Dortmund aren't losing is because Hoff sucks up front. It is almost as if they do not want to score.
Dortmund fullbacks are beaten time and time again....they need upgrades and speed on the outside backs
that's 3 chances gone begging. Hoff very confident and casual in breaking the Dortmund press, getting space out wide and centrally and crossing.
if they had any midfield help, they would look better. also the CB's are out of position on every attacking cross.
that was pathetic. no one actually plays defense for dortmund. Dahoud has from day one been nothing but a haircut and a bad one at that. "Don't break my heart, my achey Breki heart...."
