It's at half. He made some good runs, but the passes to him have been fairly poor. He's won quite a few headers and he's had some nice link up play including the best chance of the game which Hunt missed right before half. The midfield is invisible... Hunt and Jung just choose to hide from the ball and when they do get it, they usually just boot it up to no one. Muller and Wood have been on the same page so I think there may be something brewing there as they get to know eachother more. Kostic had a good cross at the end of the half when he had acres of space, but other than that he's just crossed it directly to the opposing team or out of play. Too many giveaways and wasteful long balls to count. In summary: Wood, Muller, & the whole backline have been good....Holtby has been okay. Kostic/Hunt/Jung have been pretty bad. Hopefully we see Halilovic come on for Hunt...
Jung gives the ball away in midfield which leads to Leipzig getting a penalty which then leads to them scoring said penalty.....0-1 in the 68th
HSV, in the grand tradition of crappy teams that refuse to go down, starts playing better in February. As noted when Bobby arrived there, that midfield is better by-passed. Calling it 'mediocre' is being generous.
