    I have heard rumors that Halilovic has been cut.

    Interesting. I was wondering because I haven't really heard much from him during preseason. I doesn't sound like he even played all that well. Plus you have some of the new guys like Novak and Flores that seem to be playing pretty well.

    Ultimately, I don't think it matters because they didn't use an allocation on him anyway. It would've been nice if he'd done well but no harm, no foul.

    Was he ever really signed? Or basically was a trialist the whole time?

    Deseret News and SL Trib both wrote that he was signed. Perhaps they didn't know what that really means and were mistaken.

    Doesn't matter now, he is definitely gone.

    yeah, it was also reported Sergio Flores had signed a while back and that's still not finalized (paperwork)

    it matters cause I have a database all MLS transactions ever. I don't list trials (or the Metrostars would overwhelm it) but would list guys under contract. I'll call this one a trial.
