Egypt cannot take speed, get Adu and Torres on the pitch for Dempsey and Clark! This game is ripe for us to blow it right open.

Only way Bob has a chance of leaving is if the U.S. gets blown away by Egypt, which is still very much a possibility.

But who plays DM? If we try for balance, Michael would have to go, Clark stays as a pure DM, and let TOrres and/or Adu go for it for Micheal and Demps....I am afraid your idea leaves the team too unbalance....My how i wish Edu was here right now.....

This game is a perfect example of how a commentator can bias and influence an audience. Dempsey creates two elite scoring chances, and bradley and donovan don't finish. He has some turnovers as well, but my god. Harkes completely ignores anything good he does, and even invents some things he's doing bad. He says he's out of position when he's not, says he's playing bad D even after he just stripped the ball.

    Give me a damn break.

Yhe bad thing now is that IF we win but don't go through, BSers will be more pissed than if we had lost.
    Count on it.

Dempsey and Jozy should be subbed ...I like to see new faces like Torres and Adu on the field...

If they do that hopefully we putt Adu and Torres in - I think they help break down the bunker.

since you obviously dont know what troll means, ill let it slide.

yes, im sure the people without feeds come onto the USA vs egypt thread to see what the italy score is. when it would be just as easily to, oh i dont know, go onto the brazil vs italy thread, or go onto espn.com and look at the match tracker.

it's cool when 1 person posts updated scores. it's not cool when 40 people all post it as if it's the news of the century.

    so go f* yourself kindly

I was about to say the same thing.

I like benny, but I think Torres and Adu will actually help our cause, while Benny may just be pedestrian.

Oh those 3d goals hurt right now. If we hadn't let them in, we would be a goal away from advancing...

Well, good to see, we are a better team than Egypt. The RC's and missing players and bad luck do make a difference...

The main difference between this USA and the one against Brazil is that today Donovan is playing 100%.

Maybe, especially since Brazil is doing their part. But to be fair, I'd be happy to win.

    Davies complements Donovan

In today's Egypt-USA match, Davies has shown himself to be a great partner with Donovan on the field. The two have very similar playing styles, and the dual threat of their fast, darting runs both quickens the pace at which that US plays and keeps the opponents backline true.

Funny listening to Harkes absolutely crap all over Dempsey...repeatedly. And this has been one of Dempsey's better games. He actually made a good pass to Bradley at one point!!!!

Sorry, but Dempsey deserves it. Zero respect for the guy after his shenanigans throughout the Brazil game.
