^^^I agree. Somehow a poor team like that, ends up winning the championships, because they have the tools to win in bolivia, but when it comes to outside where the level of play is faster and more intelligent and better defending, they fail. Teams like bolivar, and the strongest with better international pedigree'd players are the ones that do better outside of bolivia because of their buying power.

Well bolivar is back in the libertadores again after not being in it for a couple of years, and crappy teams like Potosi, San Jose, la paz FC, etc. ended up making it in....

Lets see how they do though, as they are the best team in bolivia by far. They have a tough group though with Estudiantes, and now Juan Aurich, and Alianza Lima....

They changed their name to Estudiantes, so everybody thought they'd be a natural for Libertadores. :D

Thanks to a lame, mediocre, and unnecessary pre season tournament designed to take money from people here in the states.

This is like beating a dead horse, but I'm going to bring it up anyway.

Real Potosi vs Cruzeiro in Potosi, Bolivia (1-1)

Real Potosi vs Cruzeiro in Belo Horizonte, Brasil (7-0)

    Conclusions?

^^What are you trying to make a point of? How close the altitude made it?

If thats the point, you are wrong. If you watched the first game, Potosi were lucky to not lose by 3 goals at least. They were fighting for their lives until thye finally tied it!

Nothing to do if it was a bolivian club with 4 players left on the pitch or Real madrid.. Cruzeiro has great players and one hell of a bench..I don't see any club winning a two leg series against them but this is futbol and everyone has a opinion and different view. Everyone is right and wrong.. Like Mr SEPP Blatter said. If everything was black and white than there would be no reason to comment, have a discussion or have differences.. That's my Pick..

Cruziero looks like a good squad. they also had a good team last year. very fluid team and great players of the bench. at one point they were playing a 2-4-4 against Real Potosi. but that aint saying much.

Did Guerron's goal vs. Potosi count? because if it did, that is probably one of the fastest goals scored.

I think Estudiantes have a strong chance to win this again. They have pretty much all of their top players from last year plus they added Clemente Rodriguez, who's one of the best LB's in Argentina and who has won the Libertadores already with Boca, and Jose Sosa on loan from Bayern Munich.
