"Between Paoli and Penn Hills, Pennsylvania is Alabama without the blacks." -- James Carville. I thought the quote was more famous than it apparently is.
I got it. It was clearly a riff on "Pennsylvania is Philadelphia in the east, Pittsburgh in the west, and Alabama in between".

Leftist Hollywood types now telling Whitelandian legislatures that their abortion laws suck and they might be "pulling out" in the future Georgia’s newly minted abortion law may have a dire effect on the state’s economy. Some of the biggest networks in film and television are threatening to leave the state after Gov. Brian Kemp signed the so-called “heartbeat bill.” The new law makes abortions illegal after a doctor can detect cardiac activity, which some refer to as a fetal heartbeat, at around six weeks into the pregnancy, a time when the embryo has not yet developed a heart. https://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/us_5cf044e5e4b0e346ce7b4724
Rachel Maddow has a fascinating, yet sickening, examination of the Missouri curtailing a woman's right to choice. It is horrifying what Missouri is doing to women. They are shutting down the last health care providing allowing women to assert their Constitutional right to seek health care. Also, at that clinic, they are requiring doctors to perform forced "vaginal pelvic exams," despite having no medical relation whatever to a woman's right to choose. It is legal sexual assault and nothing less. Every single motherf*cker in the Missouri Department of Health and Missouri Legislature should be subjected to exactly the same forced pelvic exam those assholes are requiring doctors to perform.
