A real possibility of not having any fit strikers. Move Hazard up there? Solanke?

Either way, Jose is going to play the same way he did against Pool last year and United last week. No way with our speed at the back are we pressing high or allowing Arse to get behind the back 4.

I would take a draw in a heartbeat.

A win here gets us what we all want. It's the title winning match in all reality. Here's the kicker though, both Arse and Leicester are away, and while winning it is all that matters, I'm a sentimental and would love to see us win it at home against Palace on May 2nd.

But screw it, win this one 1-0 and get another away to Leicester and it's done. Best memory I have as a Chelsea fan outside of the CL final was Lamps sprinting down the pitch at the Reebok to put us up 2-0 and sealing the title. Amazing scenes in my living room. Now Maka missing the pen, and and tapping in the rebound against Spuds I believe was year two at home. That was pretty crazy (but may have been the first title but the next match which was home).

This match will be a srruggle. Hazard might play up top in a 451 formation and not have a single other player in our half.

I'd prefer to win the league (if we're talking sentimental value) against Pool.
Maka missed against Charlton on the last day. :)

Thanks yas. I was way off then. I would prefer to have the league wrapped up and they have to give us the Champions walk out. That would be fantastic...

Hell, give Cuadrado a run at striker. Speed, strength, and it keeps our best players in their normal positions.

Let's just shut up these gooner fans once and for all. I've noticed a lot of expectation among Arsenal fans, given their current form, that they'll simply blow us away with ease at the Emirates.

    2-0 to the good guys

    Totally agree.

I think Drogba will start and gut it out. The same way we put an injured Costa on and he got reinjured.

If Drogba has to come off, we'll see Hazard or Cuadrado or Willian up top. Maybe even Zouma!

since Remy was a 50/50 going into last weekends game, I would expect him to start.

I will be ok with a draw. I am sure Jose will be too.

    Really hoping Remy is ready.

As brick said, putting cuadrado up top isn't a horrible idea. But id rather see solanke. Cuadrado could be good but he's hardly been able to pass to the right color so far.

I'm hoping remy is fit though.

If Solanke starts, that'd be awesome. He'd run his socks off trying to impress. When he's tired, put Mikel up there. :)

If its a big man we need, look no further than Zouma. I just don't think he can run that much for 70 minutes. Nor does he have the skillset to worry Arsenal defenders.

In Jose I Trust. And luckily, he doesn't give a shit about "boring" Chelsea.

Generally Jose would of course want a draw in this situation, and I agree he'll almost certainly set up to defend at all costs. That said, I do think these games against Wenger bring out something a bit different from Mourinho, and I would bet that he's terribly torn internally, would love to attack and score a few at the Emirates.

If we went all out blitz for the first 30 minutes I think we could destroy them Bayern-Porto fashion as there is no way they would be expecting it and would in all liklihood set up for a defensive Chelsea formation and as most here have said we still have the players to run them ragged if we choose.

But I'm expecting a defensive minded formation and approach and try and use Hazard's magic to fashion an opening.

If Costa was healthy and Cesc was fresh.....can't see the blitz working even if we go all out first 30 minutes.

No one calling for Ivanovic at striker? We all know he's going to end up up there anyways;)

I would love to see him start at striker. He's probably the closest replacement to Costa we have. He would certainly work his ass off. lol
